During his visit to Singapore, Andhra Pradesh Education and IT Minister Nara Lokesh proposed establishing a Microsoft Experience Zone or Technology Station in the state to foster Generative AI-based solutions. He suggested organizing a 2026 hackathon at the Amaravati Quantum Valley Tech Park, leveraging MS services with full support from the state government.

Lokesh, along with AP officials, visited the Microsoft Experience Centre in Singapore, exploring AI applications in healthcare, manufacturing, and consumer sectors. Microsoft representatives highlighted the Centre’s services like executive briefings, innovation workshops, and digital transformation guidance, used by clients like IBM and Dell.

The AP team also met Microsoft leaders to discuss further collaboration. Lokesh emphasized Andhra’s large pool of skilled IT professionals and proposed developing a workforce skilled in Generative AI, Hybrid Cloud, and Microsoft tools through partnerships with the Experience Centre.
