During a real estate conference in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu emphasized his vision for the state to experience a real estate boom and become a model for the entire country. He instructed Municipal Minister P. Narayana to develop India’s best real estate policy, even encouraging a nationwide study to adopt top practices. Naidu asserted that Andhra Pradesh should lead the nation in construction policy and expressed willingness to adopt superior policies from other states if needed. He noted that the construction and real estate sectors had been stifled under the previous YSRCP-led government and assured that the new administration would simplify regulations across departments, introduce a dashboard to track permissions, and implement deemed approvals if deadlines are missed.
Naidu also pledged support to struggling sectors, urging the industry to move forward with optimism. In a notable shift from his past focus on IT, he encouraged adoption of Artificial Intelligence, recommending AI tools for decision-making and daily use. He also committed to developing cities like Kurnool and Nellore, pushing for urban growth beyond Amaravati, which he described as unmatched in the country. Emphasizing ethical construction practices, he called on builders to avoid unauthorized developments and cooperate with the government to ensure orderly urban development.
