VIJAYAWADA: Excise and Mines Minister Kollu Ravindra had a simple message on Sunday: rebuilding Andhra Pradesh is a team sport—and everyone’s invited to play. Speaking at the Amaravati Property Festival–2025 hosted by NAREDCO at A-Convention, he painted a picture of a State revving up for a bright future.
Ravindra proudly pointed out that Andhra Pradesh is the trendsetter with its free sand policy, giving the real estate sector a solid boost. Mining permissions? Now smoother than a freshly paved highway, thanks to simplified rules. He tipped his hat to Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu for steering the economy back on track, even claiming that land prices in AP have now raced ahead of those in Telangana. He also showered praise on NAREDCO for opening up a world of opportunities for buyers through the expo.
During the valedictory session, AP RERA Chairman Are Siva Reddy played the role of the industry’s friendly guide, promising builders speedy approvals—within 24 hours, as long as the paperwork behaves itself. He encouraged developers to go green and teased a mega meeting within 15 days to iron out industry issues. He also nudged unorganised real estate agents to officially hop on the RERA train.
One of the festival’s star attractions? CRDA’s adorable miniature models of Amaravati’s future government complexes. Crowds flocked around them, snapping selfies and daydreaming about the capital city yet to rise.
