- Visit & Meeting: On 29 July 2025, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu visited Singapore and met with Prof. Mohan Kankanahalli, Deputy Executive Chairman of AI Singapore, to discuss collaboration on setting up AI research and innovation centres in Andhra Pradesh
- Academic Partnerships: Naidu emphasised forming partnerships between AI Singapore and Andhra Pradesh’s universities and research institutions to advance AI initiatives across the state
- Training & Exchange Programmes: A proposal was made to launch AI training programs, student exchange initiatives, and skill development modules aimed at equipping Andhra’s youth with cutting‑edge capabilities
- Sectoral Focus: The discussions covered applications of AI in healthcare, agriculture, education, and public services, aligning technology innovation with societal needs
- Deep-tech and Innovation: Opportunities were explored to promote deep tech innovations, support AI-driven startups, and bolster technological research infrastructure in the state
- Investment & Aviation: During the Singapore visit, Naidu also engaged with SIA Engineering (represented by NG Jan Lin Wilin) to discuss establishing MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul) aviation services in planned Andhra airports, with Visakhapatnam and Krishnapatnam identified as prospective locations
- Future Engagements: Further meetings were planned with Singaporean figures such as President Tharman Shanmugaratnam and former Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, focusing on larger investment and infrastructure collaboration such as smart‑city and industrial planning
